90kg - new 3RM followed by 100kg - new 2RM . ### Today was a great sess ..could've been the fresh air , but I felt stronger and definitely more focused . 🇬🇧Another protein balls recipe with home made nut, cashews, almonds and peanut butter, oats, white chocolate whey protein from @myproteinuk, honey and shredded coconut as topping. I made three big balls like this and is like A LOT of calories, but honestly, I need something to eat when I'm in double shift and I want to stay healthy so who cares about calories? Anyway after seeing That Sugar film I truly believe that calories from sugar are different than other calories which come from fat or protein. The film demonstrates that basing our diet in healthy supermarket meals like granola or bar smoothies (which contain added sugar) make gain weight (mainly around the belly: visceral fat), loose health and (the worst thing for me) interfere in our mood making us feel up and down very quickly, craving for more sugar; compared to the same 2000kcal diet based on good fats, whole meal carbs and protein, which seems to be not only harmless but good for you. Estas son totalmente caseras, crema de cacahuete, almendras, anacardos y nueces casera, miel, proteína de suero sabor chocolate blanco de @myproteinuk, avena y topping de coco rallado. He hecho tres bolas grandes que deben ser un millón de calorías pero es que me la suda mucho, necesito algo que llevarme a la panza cuando doblo en el curro y quiero comer sano, además después de ver That Sugar film creo firmemente que las calorías del azúcar y de las grasas y proteínas actúan de forma diferente en nuestro cuerpo. En la peli demuestran que una dieta basada en comidas "saludables" de supermercado como la granola o los smoothies preparados (azúcares añadidos) hacían aumentar de peso (especialmente aumentaban el nivel de grasa visceral en torno al vientre), producían problemas de salud y cambios en el humor fomentados por el deseo de volver a consumir azúcar (subidones y bajones) que es lo que más me perturba; comparaban con una dieta de la misma cantidad de calorías (2000kcal) pero basada en carbs complejos sin procesar, grasas y proteínas, demostrando que no sólo es inocua sino beneficiosa para la salud. Es una peli que todos deberíamos ver!

Happy Hump Day everyone!😀 Take advantage of this day to be the best version of yourself 🌞💕 Today I did an upper body workout from #p90x2 . 💪🏼💪🏼This workout was challenging. Luckily Beachbody programs have a modifier, 😉 so in case you have an injury or some physical limitations you can opt to do some modified moves. So due to my wrist issue, and even though I modified some moves , I still got a great sweat and workout in and I'll take that! 😅 ------------------------------ I still have a few spots left in my SLIMDOWN TO SUMMER group that's starting next Tuesday!
