There's plenty of pressure to be that skinny mom a few weeks or months after having baby! That's crazy!I pressured myself a lot too! But I'm glad I still went at my pace trying to recover and enjoy my first baby's important time. Hello! Childbirth is a MAJOR event! And especially if you have a C-Section... that's surgery in itself. So slow down, mamas. Be YOU!
Be the best version of yourself, that's it! There will be time and you will be a healthy, fit, you! Take your time to soak in your journey, and do it, but do it for yourself, not to give in into society's pressures! Good for that girl that is skinny minny after pregnancy, nothing wrong with that either, but I'm sure she has other issues to deal with too!
The pressure to lose weight as soon as I had my baby was definitely there. And it took me about a year and a half after he was born to go back to what is labeled "prebaby" weight. But you know what, I'm a mama now. I'm finally at my "woman weight" . Something my hubby has repeatedly told me throughout my weightloss journey , thank you 😊 so much hubs. My body's changed. I feel more woman. I am different. So I am happy to be ME. Curvy, strong, sexy, fit, me!
