Keeping it real 💯 Last night in LA spent on drips with fluid & a hospital bed 🤒 my body didn't respond well to water cut last night and to make it worse I got a virus and couldn't drink or eat without vomiting. dehydration was the main culprit but 6 days straight of hard training and cardio with less than 4hrs sleep a night will also have its toll. Leading to me getting a virus last night as my fitness show was just kicking off. I remember thinking to myself that afternoon how sick I felt and weak all over. This brings me to discuss the moral of this post! Don't be mistaken of lean physique being the healthiest! I believe balance is key and I made a mistake trying To push myself further than my body could handle just for a trophy. _ This is not something i should post but if I can help a few others from being in hospital then I'll do as I can to educate. This is not a sympathy post or any excuse why i didn't place. I had an amazing tour through the local Beer Brewery in Chelabinsk and they're offering a Beer bath and massage afterwards. Unfortunately i couldn't try this out due to overbooked sessions. Even people from Europe are coming to Ural region for this. I had many great impressions! MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: Congratulations to Kelly Williams, Hoffman Estate's Member Spotlight for April. "I first joined Cross Kicks in the summer of 2014. I had spent the prior year competing in two fitness competitions and was looking for a new challenge. After my first workout I was immediately hooked! I truly look forward to coming in every day and finding out what the trainers have in store for us. The competitive, friendly atmosphere keeps me motivated to push myself during each workout. The creativity of the trainers and support from fellow members are what make Cross Kicks a great place to work out. Three things that I feel have helped me succeed are drinking plenty of water, meal prep, and mindfulness. Setting aside time each Sunday to meal prep makes eating healthy on busy weeknights that much easier – “You can’t out-train a bad diet.” I also do my best to be mindful and present during my workouts to make sure I get the most out of the time I’m there. Since joining Cross Kicks I've completed three duathlons (run/bike/run), increased my strength and endurance, and decreased my body fat percentage.
