Innan jag började på Weight Trainer så fick jag göra en kroppsvägning och mätning som såg i princip Allt i kroppen 😄 #l äsigt Här är en liten del.. som ni ser, tex.. I total body water har jag 39.3 liter och jag ska ligga inom parentesen 33.6-41 liter. Ligger jag under 33.6 har jag för lite, om jag ligger över 41 så har jag för mycket. Men jag ligger ju bra till 😉 Här fick ni också se min startvikt...70.2 kg 😬🙄 Men den 12e juni är det utvägning & mätning! Hej Tove here - Shift One The Protein Shift - The protein shift is probably the most studied and well known out of the four shifts. We know that we have to change how much and what type of animal-based protein we consume. Swedish meat consumption has increased from 50 kg per person in 1960, to 87.4 kg in 2013, which is well above average in low-income countries (17.3 kg), but also above the global average of high-income countries (81.8 kg). The question is not if we need a protein shift. The question is how do we support a protein shift and what will it look like? Elin Röös, from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, presented some interesting reflections on the protein challenge and pathways forward. She emphasized that we need to work with innovation and multiple solutions, including production improvements as well as changes in consumer behavior. Changing what and how we eat doesn’t equally imply that it has to be inconvenient, but could rather lead to new and interesting experiences and palates. This was emphasized during following discussions, where taste was described as a driver for change that must be given priority in the development of new plant-based meals and products. In summary, the protein shift will require multiple solutions across the food value chain – from farm to fork. It will involve the producer (e.g. create financial security for producers that invest in new “protein-plants”), and the industry (e.g. develop an active and innovative processing industry), as well as the consumer (e.g. alternative meal compositions, using meat as a seasoning). It seemed like we know where we need to go, but the pathways there are plenty, and so are ideas and solutions for how to move forward!
