Back to business.... Chest day! I haven't had a chest session this intense in a while... Nothing but supersets, dropsets and pyramid sets throught the whole workout 💪 Started with bench press 140kg x 6-8 reps superset with 50kg dumbbell press x 8 reps all for 3 sets. Also did one heavy set of 150kg x 3 reps with 50kg x 8 reps with dumbbells. My chest was on 🔥🔥Went on to 4 sets of Incline dumbbell press with 50kg x 10 reps then straight into 30-40 press ups... Then went on to cable flys, dumbbell press, Peck deck and finished off my workout with 5 sets of 10 on Incline barbell bench press 😥😥 . . . To me bodybuilding is an escape from the real world. A way to take every little emotion and everything you're going through and use it in the gym just to get over those problems you're having or just put them aside for that time being and more than likely you will come out of the gym feeling thousands of times better than you did before walking in. The gym and bodybuilding gives you a since of pride in your own way. You may not be the biggest or the leanest but if you leave your ego at the door go in and try your best I guarantee after that gym session you will feel amazing!

Looking at my pump like "Hmm, decently good" 🔥 Time for an informative post about Progress. For a Natural, the best way to train is by focusing on Progressive Overload - Regardless what your training split is. How do you tackle this? ✔ Pick a rep range you want to get stronger in (e.g 3-5, 5-7, 7-10) and stick to it ✔ Pick a weight you can do for X amount of reps ✔ Add 2,5kg/5.5lbs in total to the bar each workout/when you're ready for it The smartest thing to do is Programming your workouts by using the above checks, to continuously be able to make progress.

#humpday #pumpday Had a good bis, tris and calves workout prior to starting nights again tonight. Currently 13 1/2 weeks away from the finals. Still slowly increasing kcals at the moment on a weekly basis and I'm surprised at how little my weight has changed so far. This process of aiming to peak twice with such a long gap in between will certainly be a learning curve.
