My Sunday: 1hr. Personal reformer pilates training in a beautiful private studio. Breakfast at Munch, coconut protein pancakes followed by 1hr. Anti-aging facial. Ultimate reset day 12 ✅ I can't believe I haven't had meat in a week! That's crAzy to me! I used to live off meat at EVERY meal! No, I'm not going vegetarian because I really love my steak, chicken and burgers, but this experience has given me an appreciation for more foods! . It's interesting to see protein come from other foods besides meat. . I actually really love roasted beets and coconut collard greens now too! . A HUGE plus is that my skin has cleared up tremendously! . It's been a good journey so far and I can't believe I have 9 days left! 🙌🏻

I remember how I felt in the picture on the left. Sure I looked happy enough, but I felt tired, sad, and alone. I was uncomfortable in my own skin. I isolated myself because I was embarrassed to be in public. I hated how I felt physically. I remember just wanting to break down in tears trying to find clothes. The thought of working out seemed daunting. I was beyond exhausted with a kid who hated sleep. I needed 2 cups of coffee a day to function. I felt like total crap. Fast forward to the day something clicked. I was chasing my daughter around and I could barely keep up with her. I realized at this point it wasn't even really about me anymore, I NEEDED to be healthy. I needed to be able to take care of my baby. I wanted to be a better role model and I wanted to feel better. It's a journey, and I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. I have setbacks, but I'm better than I was yesterday. I have a better relationship with food. I understand more about nutrition. I'm physically stronger. I have more energy. I don't need 2 cups of coffee a day. I FEEL GREAT. If you're like me and feeling stuck and you don't know where to start, I feel you! Even on the days when it's hard, I remind myself of the big picture and the COMMITMENT I made to myself to be my best.
