What makes the strap so effective when working back is it takes the grip totally out of the equation and allows for a superior mind/muscle link when working the lats. (hands are slipped through the loop and re-grip) A Canadian study conducted at Waterloo University cited byJim Stoppani PhD @jimstoppani , inverted rows activate up to 60% more muscle fibers in the latissimus dorsi (Lats) than the traditional bent over barbell rows. • Place heels on the floor while having the straps high enough so your body does not touch the ground when arms are extended. • Supinating to a neutral grip puts even more emphasis on the lats • Pull with the elbows, arch and squeeze the back at the top of the movement. I'd love to be motivated, but I see no change atm. Literally none. No weight change. No waist measurement change. Nearly no progress seen when looking at pictures. The fitness-diary shows me that another 20days is gone and I reached 'nothing' again. How is there no change with 400-600kcals deficit? Even if I didn't track right (I hope I did) it should've been at least 200kcals deficit per day =/ . I planned my meals today but I'm about 50-100kcals over it. Training is already done and I'll go skating on the street a bit until dinner is ready... . You see my motivation is low, sorry . But I'll just workout and eat right until it's back again.
