FITNESS UPDATE /CARB CYCLING👇🏻.
So it's been a hot minute since I shared a fitness update with you guys so here goes:
You may know already that just before my holiday I was on a small cut to lose some of the excess body fat I gained during my winter bulk. I done it gradually and then decreased my calories a little bit more just before my holiday (which I wish I had left more time for). I literally stuck to my macros and I did so quite loosely over the upcoming weeks to my holiday. I lost a few lbs - of which I wanted however, i didn't reach my goal. Therefore, I'm going to be starting carb cycling again 👋🏼 .
This is something I've done before and found worked really well for MY body. I've done a post about it before which you can find on my blog (link in bio). So this means I'll be having moderate, low carb and high carb days throughout the week and this is something I work REALLY well with 😇 . Not everyone loves it but that's because not everything works for everybody 🤚🏼 .
In regards to my fitness I'll be lifting 5 days a week, having one main cardio session a week and completing 3 HIIT and 1/2 LISS sessions a week too. This is the kinda fitness I love and what works for me. I don't see it as a chore, or a 'diet'.. for me it's a lifestyle ☺️ .
Anyhow, I'll keep you updated on my adventures with carb cycling like I did last year. I always struggle with the first few days getting used to my macro change but then it's a breeze usually 👏🏻 . Any questions, please leave comments below 🙋🏻 .
