I wanted a light bar that I could mount on my bumper, but in front of my winch. I didn't have a lot of room to spare, and I found that the straight bar just wouldn't fit. So I bought this curved bar in hopes that the curve would give me just enough clearance from the winch to make it work. It turned out perfectly. All the hardware was included, but I did swap out the hex bolts for longer machine screws because of my thicker rock crawler bumper and tight space inside. The light brackets are designed to prevent the bolt from turning while you tighten the nut and lock washer from below. I could barely get a wrench on the nut let alone turn it. That is why I switched to the machine screw, so that I could turn it from the top side. There are also some rubber pads to be placed between the light brackets and You vehicle. They will reduce the vibration to the light to make it last longer, and they will help protect your paint. You can adjust the angle of the light a full 360 degrees for mounting at any angle. After you have decided the angle that you like, then tighten the screws with the provided Allen wrench. The bracket and light have teeth that interlock when you tighten the screws and locks it in place so that it will not tilt even with a fair amount of force. It has a waterproof rating and I have had no problems with water so far. I've been through rain, rivers, and car washes with no signs of any water getting inside. It is very strong aluminium construction with large fins on the back to help reduce the heat from the lights. Light is very bright and it was hard adjusting to just the headlights when I get back on paved roads. I have been vary happy with this light so far.
