The 76ers have drafted UCLA Forward Jonah Bolden with the 36th pick. Bolden is 6'10", 227 with a 7'3" wingspan. He can play a stretch four like role as he shot 41.9% from three taking 4.2 attempts per game in college. Bolden also the athleticism to play the 5 as a rim runner which means he can catch and complete plenty of lobs. Bolden is comfortable to push the pace after grabbing a defensive rebound although sometimes he forces bad passes, he has a high passing IQ capable for the NBA. Bolden's most interesting strength is the ability to guard perimeter players while also being able to defend the paint. His defensive versatility will be very valuable and quote by Bolden himself "I want to become a player that can guard all positions." A weakness of his though is his strength in the post, he will need to be stronger at the next level since obviously players are stronger in the NBA. Main reason Bolden fell to to the 2nd round is because he was playing overseas in the Adriatic league (ABA) and not many general managers were able to see him play. Although it is a weaker league than many colleges in the states players like Nikola Jokic and Dario Saric came out of that league and have been productive so far in their NBA careers. Overall Jonah Bolden seems like a player with some nice upside if he develops correctly and will have a possibility to join the 76ers roster this upcoming season. #nba #sixers #76ers #trusttheprocess #trustthesixers #gosixers #joelembiid #embiid #bensimmons #philly #wellsfargocenter #raisethecat #letsgosixers #theprocess #brotherlylove #draft #bolden
