But is there romance? ♡ Something I ask with every book recommendation given me. I need a little love with every story. It doesn't have to be the main focus (but I am a sucker for strictly romance), but there needs to be SOMETHING tangible. 🙄 ♡ I am currently, still, reading A Traitor's Kiss and I am enjoying it. Being a voracious reader, it takes a lot to surprise me, or even throw me for a loop- so I am hoping this story pulls something out of far left to make me go, "Huh. Awesome." The potential is there, which is just one reason why I am thoroughly enjoying it thus far. ♡ If you're reading it (@_livelaughread) or have already read it, feel free to message me! I'd love to discuss. ☺ ♡ I received my rep code for @littleinklingsdesign and it is available to use already - and if I wasn't clear in any previous posts: I absolutely LOVE Megan's designs, not to mention adore the creator herself. ❤ Do check out her feed, her designs, and fall in love with it and her. And please feel free to use DRINKSTEA10 on your orders for 10% off! 😘 ♡ I hope everyone is enjoying their Thursday- I have done absolutely nothing and I'm totally okay with it. ♡ #acciomaybooks #butisthereromance #itsgonnabereads #newrelease #newauthor #thetraitorskiss #erinbeaty #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #currentread #currentlyreading #openbook #bookandtea #bookandbookmark #littleinklingsdesigns #bookmarklove #happythursday #bibliophile #bookworm #booklover #bookish

Mosquitos. Autor: William Faulkner. -Hojas completas, marrones. -Detalles de uso y tiempo. Precio: 2.900,ººBs. 1. The author writes about the Robin Williams scene in "Dead Poet Society" where Mr. Keating (Robin Williams) asks his students to take a keen look at the photographs of the old students from decades ago. Keating says the men in the photograph are all dead now and feeding their bodies to flowers. So they are saying "carpe diem." 2. Roman poet Horace wrote "Carpe Diem" as "seize the day." 3. Seizing the day could be done everyday if we think every day how our days on earth are numbered. We will focus on the most important things to do rather than waste our time in trivial pursuits of living including fame, money, hierarchy, etc. 4. Author also writes about Steve Jobs speech at Stanford about how his cancer made him pursue the most important things in life. 5. Seizing the day includes doing the things we are meant to do. But also pursuing things like "flow," "spontaneity," "feeling awe," etc. 6. Flow: the title of the book written by Chicago psychologist mihaly measures how people feel "in the zone" when they do things they enjoy that time flies by, they get realtime feedback on it, and it's an addictive state where great work is done. 7. Spontaneity: Not to buy a house spontaneously but not plan everything and willing to break social norms (like dancing on a street). 8. Feeling awe: it's like standing in front of grand canyon or hearing an amazing music performance live. Aww is vital for creativity too! 9. How not to carpe diem: shopping for instant gratification, sex (Ashley Madison: "life is short, have an affair"), drugs, etc. 10. Author also writes there is carpe diem politics!: occupy movement, Arab spring at Tahir square, etc. #carpediem #selfhelp #book #books #bookcandy #bookshelf #bibliophile #bookstagram #goodread #goodreads

✨⭐️💙⭐️✨ Beauties, I am head over heels for this amazing pair of Feyre & Rhysand #bookmarks from @tillanddill 💙I received them in the ACOWAR box from @mark.the.page box and aren't they just divine?! So, do you think Rhysand has a surname or is he just a one name diva like Rhianna and Cher? 🤔 Perhaps, like my last name, it's difficult to spell and he got sick of repeating to people on the phone so he just dropped it 😂 ✨⭐️💙⭐️✨ QOTD: Would you rather have an invisibility cloak or the ability to fly? ✨⭐️💙⭐️✨ #bookstagram #booklover #bookworm #bookstagrammer #booksofinstagram #bibliophile #yalit #booknerdigans #bibliophile #bookish #bookaddict #bookaholic #bookcommunity #ya #bookmark #booknerd #read #books #reading #booklove #instareads #sarahjmaas #acourtofwingsandruin #acourtofmistandfury #markthepage #tillanddill
