Just a plug for the app... I โค๏ธ it! The reviews on the Apple Store are not my experience at all... I see a lot of people saying that the programs has a lot of glitches and so I hesitated for a while as I didn't want to pay for something that didn't work! But I've had ZERO problems with it to date. It's super user friendly and just keeps track of everything so so well. It allows me to just follow along with the work out and also watch @kayla_itsines incredible form, which is both inspiring and a bit depressing. Haha. Anyways, if you don't have it and can find the money to give it a try, I definitely would! Cheaper than a gym and well I love it!!

when ur contemplating ur ability as a trainer cause u can't flawlessly complete the core workout u made up cause ur abs are WEAK & ur lower back sucks๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜ช if anyone wants to try it to critique me it would be much appreciated!!! Today was not the first, but the SECOND time I've been able to run outside in FEBRUARY โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ This MI weather is bizarre but I'm feelin it ๐Ÿ˜‰ I've been running seriously for 4 years now and I injured my knee about 6 months ago because I was wearing old worn out shoes, and did not stretch properly. I cannot stress enough the importance of having the correct shoes and stretching if you're serious about running. Went hiking this weekend with my boo and his sister at The Top of the World in Laguna Beach. One of my favorite hikes I've been on bc it offers a wide variety of trails and diff things to see (abandoned car, caves,etc) and it's just a really nice break from the busyness of life. Definitely easy parts but definitely some parts that had us huffing and puffing. I wish that every morning I could eat a beautifully prepared bowl of oats or a colourful smoothie bowl. Unfortunately most days the reality is something a lot more quick and portable that I can eat at my desk or on my way to work from the gym. At least it's something good for me and not a mcmuffin ๐Ÿ™Šthe protein in this will keep me full til lunch! And of course I need my double shot latte!

So I officially had my first 'bad' workout since starting BBG this time round. I suppose one workout in nearly two months of them isn't too bad. It's just so frustrating. You know when you just can't get your heart rate up no matter what you do ๐Ÿ˜ž It has me on a downer now which is annoying but I still managed about 40 mins of LISS which is good but just not for me when I'm so used to pushing myself more during a workout. Anyways, not to be all negative, I came home and had some hot chocolate to cheer me up and I'm going to go to sleep and get up in the morning to do week 7 arms. My routine is a bit messed up now and I have to either do my workouts in the evening or get up an extra half an hour early ๐Ÿ™„ I'm better off getting up though because it's just so much harder to workout after a day at work. I hope you guys had a better workout than me anyways!! Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully things will be better. For now, I'm going to sleep my little heart out!! Snack time! This week has been craaazy and I'm running on almost no sleep ๐Ÿ˜ด๐Ÿ˜ด Today I only had five minutes to throw a snack together so I cooked some oats and threw in protein powder, pb2, and a banana! On crazy weeks like this I always have to remind myself to practice self-care and take a few minutes to relax every day.
