Chorizo con papas y nopalitos 😋 the only Spanish I know is food! Day 69: run. I have been a runner for half my life and I do not know the answer to this question: WHY DO I GET SO ITCHY? it is so bad sometimes I want to peel my skin off. I scratch and scratch and scratch. I try not to wear anything tight, but it seems my sports bra, running belt, and even socks make me crazy. ••••••••••••• any advice???? Not the best quality photos (I'll take some cleaner ones at the end of pretraining as well) BUT 3 week difference. I really didn't think there was much of a difference, but I'm glad I listened to everyone and took photos...it's motivating to see the hard work is laying off! I'm taking things in stride, little changes to my diet here and there and making choices every day to be more activate. I used to be one of those girls who refused to workout my lower body because I was terrified of it getting bulkier. It's only in the last couple of months, post the BBG 12 week challenge that I've got up the courage to start upping my weights and really working my legs and butt. Nature has *blessed* me with significant assets, so this is about taking what I have and maximising it. Now my focus is on shape and tone rather than size and I'm so excited to see how this changes my body over time! Today's glute blast (sets x reps): *3 x 12 per leg split leg squat with foot on bench (2*8kg dumbells) *3 x 12 barbell hip thrusts (20kg barbell) *3 x 12 barbell squats (30kg barbell) *3 x 12 back extension (unweighted) *3 x 12 wide leg stance leg press (50kg) *3 x 12 per leg donkey kicks I've included the weights I used for reference, but if you decide to give it a go then you need to work out with the heaviest weight that lets you complete all reps in a single set with good form (the last one should hurt!) This workout took me 50 minutes, burned 250 kcals and left me with a serious booty burn! I've taken some before pictures and I hope to share my progress on this area in 6-8 weeks.
