For #MotivationMonday I wanted to talk about #Nutrition . I'm constantly getting asked "what do you eat" or "what do you eat to lose weight" or "what do you eat/do to get a flat tummy" and my answer remains the same every time. Remember the good ol food pyramid ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ(swipe right) where we were lead to believe we needed or should be getting 6-11 servings of carbs a day 3-5 of veg , 2-4 of fruit 2-3 serving of meat and dairy(all trash btw ๐Ÿ˜ญ) lastly 0-3 servings of fat, oils and SWEETS smh. ALL WRONG! Did you know we shouldn't be consuming more than 10g of sugar A DAY. A Gatorade, promoted by athleticism and endurance has around 35g for sugar in it, just in one serving that's enough sugar for 3 and a half days smh. My diet is more like the last slide ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿฝ(swipe right) disregarding the meat and dairy because I'm #Vegan ๐ŸŒฑ but notice anything interesting ? 60% of my diet comes from vegetables and I rarely consume sugar, I'm not a fan never have been. So, if your trying to get rid of your gut, first you must get rid SUGAR ๐Ÿ˜Š I don't try to push #Veganism on anyone( even though it's a 100% healthier diet/life) but the last slide shows meat, dairy and eggs being LESS than 10% of your total daily caloric intake. Meaning if your consuming 1500 calories a day only 150 calories should be from meat dairy and eggs combined! Everything in moderation, the fact that we can just get up and have access to steak for breakfast lunch and dinner for a decent price is the reason why we are so unhealthy and die from stupid diseases that can be avoided by eating better smh anyways that was me ranting and preaching about good health ๐Ÿ˜Š enjoy the rest of your day ๐Ÿ’ฏ
